New System Ventures co-led the round, with National Grid Partners and existing investors also participating. LineVision announced the financing on Sept. 17, 2026.
The Boston company sells dynamic line rating and situational awareness software for electricity transmission networks. Its NexusIQ platform combines physics-based modelling with sensor data from equipment mounted beside overhead lines. It uses that to establish how much current a conductor can carry in prevailing weather, rather than the conservative static rating utilities have traditionally assumed, allowing additional capacity from existing infrastructure.
