At a glance
The Ljungström family office co-led a €62.5 million Series B for AnaCardio AB and, two days earlier, joined Breye Therapeutics' €67.5 million Series A as a new investor, Family Office Hub reported.
aurum Impact, the investment office backed by the family behind the GOLDBECK construction group, joined Reverion's $175 million Series B led by Kembara.
Family Office Hub flags the mika round's structure: neither the lead nor the follower is a conventional seed fund, and neither carries a fund life that forces an exit.
The Ljungström family office co-led a €62.5 million Series B for AnaCardio AB and, two days earlier, joined Breye Therapeutics' €67.5 million Series A as a new investor, Family Office Hub reported. Novo Holdings took part in both biotech rounds, which together total €130 million.
The report does not break out the family office's individual commitment sizes, and it says one of the two commitments came with a board seat attached, without saying which.
The AnaCardio Series B fully funds GOAL-HF2, a Phase 2b trial expected to enrol about 400 patients at roughly 100 sites in twelve countries. First enrolment is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a Phase 3-ready asset targeted for 2028.
Mission BioCapital and Novo Holdings co-led the Breye round, which takes danegaptide, an oral small molecule for non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, into a randomised Phase 2 trial starting in 2027.
aurum Impact, the investment office backed by the family behind the GOLDBECK construction group, joined Reverion's $175 million Series B led by Kembara. Allianz and KfW Capital also participated, and Reverion reports measured electrical efficiency of 74.2% in live customer operation, seven commercial plants in regular operation, headcount above 200 and a commercial pipeline above $2 billion of revenue potential.
Smedvig Ventures led a €6 million seed round in Berlin bookkeeping software company mika, with Basel family office Wecken & Cie also participating. mika reports more than 750 corporate customers, revenue above €1 million annualised in July 2026 and monthly growth above 20% for several months, with pricing starting at €49 a month.
Family Office Hub flags the mika round's structure: neither the lead nor the follower is a conventional seed fund, and neither carries a fund life that forces an exit. The same report notes that most family offices publish nothing, and the ones that do rarely list a contact for inbound deal flow.
Smedvig operates from Stavanger and London, and its site dates the family business to 1915, with the fourth generation in charge and $2.4 billion in assets under management spanning real estate, venture capital, private equity, long-only equity, hedge funds and fixed income.
