Family offices participated in 112 transactions across 99 companies in August 2026, up from 107 deals in July, according to FINTRX data published Sept. 23.

Series A remained the most active stage with 20 deals, matching June and July, per the same data.
Seed and pre-seed activity totaled 23 transactions, more than double July's total.
Acquisitions fell to 12 from 18 in each of the prior two months, and private equity slipped to six deals.
Energy, materials and agriculture recorded 16 transactions, which FINTRX called the sector's strongest month of the year.
