Duquesne joins Precision Neuroscience’s $250m Series D; Divisa leads ONYA
Tom Cabrerizo’s family office also invested in duPont Registry Group and will help launch a Porsche events platform.
FO Pro's Oct. 5 round-up covers a week and a half of family-office commitments that ran from a nine-figure late-stage round in New York to a pre-Series A raise in India, and the three deals sort by the role each family office took: participant, lead, and operator. Precision Neuroscience set the scale on Sept. 24, closing an oversubscribed $250 million Series D led jointly by Pershing Square Inc., the Ackman Oxman Institute and an undisclosed life sciences investment fund, while Duquesne Family Office joined the syndicate alongside B Capital, ARK Invest and Mubadala Capital. Two days earlier, the family office of Tom Cabrerizo invested in duPont REGISTRY Group, and on the same day as Precision's close, Divisa Family Office led ONYA's ₹12.5 crore pre-Series A.
Founded in 2021, Precision has now raised $430 million and reports more than 100 patient procedures across 18 medical institutions; its Layer 7 cortical interface holds FDA clearance and a commercial partnership with Medtronic. The Series D proceeds are earmarked for expanding the clinical program, moving Layer 7 through the next stages of FDA review, and building commercialization infrastructure. The round-up describes the Series D as oversubscribed and acknowledges further participants it does not name, and every investor identified apart from Duquesne is an institution.
Duquesne's slot in the Precision syndicate
Duquesne, Stanley Druckenmiller's family office and by the round-up's account one of the most active in the U.S., holds a participant's position here: the three co-leads are named, and what Duquesne itself committed is not. FOD's records show a single prior item on the office, which makes the Precision allocation a data point rather than a pattern. The round-up gives no reason to read the stake as anything beyond a syndicate position at a moment when the device is cleared and the procedure count is public, and the size of Duquesne's exposure and the rights attached to it do not appear in the account.
The collector takes an operating seat
Two days earlier, the round-up reports, the family office of Tom Cabrerizo—who curates Garage 26, a private Miami collection of rare, limited-production Ferrari and Porsche cars—invested in duPont REGISTRY Group and will partner with the company to launch Elferspot Events, a platform for Porsche enthusiasts and collectors. The first event is scheduled for Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Fla., over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Jan. 15–17, 2027, and will include a Porsche rally, a VIP dinner and a concours showcase. The launch follows dRG's integration of Elferspot into its platform in February 2026, and terms of the investment were not disclosed.
This is the only one of the three deals where a family office takes an operating role alongside an equity one, and the February 2026 integration means the platform was already inside dRG when the investment and the events partnership were announced. The announcement carries a venue, a date and a program but no price, and because the round-up does not describe dRG's business beyond the Elferspot integration, what the office bought into is only partly visible. What the announcement does show is capital moving toward the registry and events side of a collecting market rather than toward another car.
The family office as lead
On the same Sept. 24 date, ONYA, a lab-grown diamond jewelry brand, raised ₹12.5 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Divisa Family Office, the investment office of Indian entrepreneur Dr. Sanjeev Juneja. Zeropearl VC, which led ONYA's ₹5.5 crore pre-seed round the previous November, participated again, and the new round is a little more than twice the size of that pre-seed—the only disclosed step-up among the three deals. That makes ONYA the only company in the batch where a family office is named as the round's lead: in the $250 million Precision round, the family office is one participant among several; at dRG, the office's money and its operating commitment arrive together.
The three commitments span different family-office structures: Duquesne is a U.S. single-family office built around one investor's fortune, Divisa is the investment office of an Indian entrepreneur, and Cabrerizo's vehicle is tied to a personal collection in Miami. The deals cover a clinical-stage medtech round, a Florida events platform and an Indian consumer jewelry brand, with no family office appearing twice and no co-investor shared across the three. None of the three discloses what the family office itself committed: Precision's $250 million and ONYA's ₹12.5 crore are round totals, dRG's terms are undisclosed, and the round-up does not say how much of the ₹12.5 crore Divisa provided. Three deals across a week and a half are an illustration at most, and the round-up does not present them as more than that.
The dates that are already public set the next observable milestones: Elferspot Events has a Coral Gables weekend in January 2027, and Precision has said the Series D will carry Layer 7 into the next stage of FDA review.
