The congress is expected to convene leaders representing more than 350 ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their family offices from around the world, according to the announcement. The emirate will also organise an executive workshop during the congress covering family business governance, wealth management and generational transition.
Al Fahim said hosting a global congress of that scale in Abu Dhabi "reflects the high level of confidence that the international business community places in the emirate as a leading centre for investment and wealth management." He added that gathering the world's family businesses and family offices on one platform creates investment opportunities and supports the knowledge exchange behind preserving wealth across generations.
The announcement frames the hosting deal as a step in Abu Dhabi's effort to attract family offices and multigenerational enterprises, pointing to the emirate's regulatory environment and financial infrastructure as draws.
